Key Songs
Presencia
‘Presencia’ is the title track of the album and embodies its core message: being present in the here and now, breathing, and trusting in presence. As I say in the chorus: ‘Todo ya está aquí, todo ya está en ti’ (‘Everything is already here, everything is already within you‘).
Agua
‘Agua’ is the oldest song on the album. I composed it one morning at 6 AM while walking my dog in a beautiful park near my home in Berlin. That morning, inspired by a heartbreak and the fluid power of water, I wrote ‘Agua’. Love is like water—penetrating the earth and leaving it forever nourished, as I sing in the chorus in Portuguese: ‘O amor. e’ como a agua, penetra a terra, deixando-a molhada para sempre’ (‘Love is like water, It penetrates the earth, leaving it wet forever’).
